Installation and sign-in

Multogram system requirements, where to download the installer and how to verify its checksum, installing on Windows, first sign-in, device linking, the Pro trial and application updates.

Multogram is an application for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). There are no other platforms yet. Your Multogram account and plan live on the website, while the work happens in the application on your computer.

What you need

  • A computer with Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • An internet connection: the application checks in with the server at sign-in and before every task starts.
  • A Multogram account — sign-up is free, no payment details needed.
  • Your Telegram accounts (phone numbers or session files) and, optionally, proxies.

Download the installer

The installer is on the Download page of the Multogram website. The page also shows the version, file size, publication date and the SHA-256 checksum — use it to make sure the file is neither damaged nor tampered with:

checking the checksum in PowerShell
Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\Multogram-Setup.exe" -Algorithm SHA256

Use the name of the file you downloaded. The Hash value must match the checksum on the website.

Only from the official website

Download Multogram only from the Download page of the official website. Builds from other sources may be modified and steal your accounts.

Install the application

Run the installer. If a "Windows protected your PC" window appears, click More info → Run anyway: this is how SmartScreen reacts to programs it sees for the first time.

Allow the installation. Multogram is installed for all users of the computer, so Windows asks for administrator permission.

Go through the wizard. You can choose the installation folder. The wizard creates shortcuts on the desktop and in the Start menu, and offers to launch the application at the end.

If the installer disappeared from your downloads folder or the application closes by itself, it is your antivirus. The fix is in Antivirus and SmartScreen.

Sign in to your account

On the sign-in screen, enter the email or username and the password of your Multogram account — the same as on the website. No account yet? The Create account link opens sign-up on the website.

You can switch the theme and language on the same screen.

Sign-up is on the website only

The application does not create Multogram accounts. Sign up on the website (email, username, password and the confirmation code from the email), then sign in to the application.

Device linking

At first sign-in the computer is linked to your account and takes a device slot. You don't need to click anything — it happens on its own.

  • The number of slots depends on the plan: Free — 1, Pro — 3, Max — 5. Extra slots can be bought on the website; one account can have at most 5 devices.
  • If there are no free slots, the application shows the "No free device slots" screen. Free a slot on the website: Dashboard → Machines → Revoke device.

More in Devices.

Pro trial

The application offers a new account 14 days of the Pro plan for free, once — with every Pro mode. The offer appears after sign-in; if you postpone it, a gift icon stays in the left panel. Conditions: new accounts only, once per account and per device. More in Plans.

Updates

The application updates itself from the official channel. When a new version is out, the Application update window appears at launch: the installed and new versions and the list of changes — What's new.

  • Download and install — the application downloads the update, verifies the package and restarts.
  • Later — keep working on the current version. The button is missing if the update is mandatory: you then can't keep working on the old version.
  • Major updates are installed with the full installer — it opens on its own; finish the installation there.

Accounts, sessions, tasks and settings are kept through updates.

Common questions

Is there a version for macOS or Linux?

No, Multogram currently runs only on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).

Do I need administrator rights?

Yes, for the installation: Multogram is installed for all users of the computer. Running the application does not need administrator rights.

Can I install it on several computers?

Yes, each computer takes a device slot. How many slots you have depends on the plan; extra ones can be bought on the website.

I forgot my Multogram account password

You can change the password in your account on the website if you are signed in there. If you can't sign in, write to support from the email the account is registered to. The address is in Support.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the application?

The application's data folder is kept when you uninstall, and session files stay wherever you saved them. Still, make a copy of the accounts database file and the sessions folder before uninstalling.
