Accounts and sessions
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Multogram account | Your account on the Multogram website: plan, payments, devices. You sign in to the application with it |
| Telegram account, worker account | A Telegram account you added to the database. Modes run on these accounts |
| Session | A sign-in to a Telegram account saved in a file. While the session is valid, the account can be opened without an SMS code |
Session file, .session | A file holding an account's session. It is stored on your computer; whoever has this file has the account |
JSON data, .json | A file next to the session: device parameters, language, time zone, sometimes a proxy and the 2FA password. It makes sign-ins look like they come from the same phone |
| tdata | The folder where Telegram Desktop keeps its sessions. Converted to .session by the Converter |
| 2FA, cloud password | The Telegram two-step verification password. Asked for at sign-in after the SMS code |
| Account status | The account's state in the database: Active, Restricted, Invalid session and others — see Accounts |
| Device fingerprint | The phone model, system and app versions an account presents to Telegram |
| DC, datacenter | The Telegram server an account belongs to. There are five of them |
How the application works
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Mode | One kind of automation: mailing, commenting, boosting, parsing and so on. Each mode has its own tab |
| Task | One run of a mode: on which accounts, in how many threads, when. See Tasks |
| Thread | One line of work inside a task. Usually one thread works with one account |
| Account pool | The accounts selected for a task. Threads take them from the pool one at a time, so two threads never take the same account |
| Target | What a mode works on: a message recipient, a channel, a post, a group |
| Coordinator | One account that drives all of a task's work and switches to the other accounts in turn. Channel Clonner works this way |
| Log | Lines about what the task is doing. Visible in the task monitor |
| Preset | A saved set of field values, applied with one click. See Settings |
| Mass action | An operation on selected rows of the accounts database without creating a task. See Mass actions |
Module, .agm | An additional mode in a separate file with its own settings. See Modules |
Module project, .agmp | The editable source of a module in the Modules Constructor. An .agm is built from it |
| Scenario | A module's logic: functions made of actions that run top to bottom. See Canvas and actions |
| Resource | A field of a module's settings form; the scenario reads its value as {{name}}. See Resources and the module form |
| MCP | An open standard for connecting AI agents to programs. Through the mcp.exe MCP server an AI client works with a running Multogram. See AI agents (MCP) |
Texts
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Text type | Where a mode takes its text from: static, list, dynamic, AI, forwarded, templates. See Texts and templates |
| Spintax | Variants written in curly braces separated by a vertical bar, for example {Hi|Hello} — one is picked at sending. It makes messages different |
| Generation template | A line with spintax and tokens like <Digit> that expands into new text each time it is used |
| Message template | A saved message with formatting and attachments |
| Prompt | An instruction for an AI model: what to write and how |
| AI credits | The built-in assistant's internal "currency". Included in the plan and renewed every period |
Telegram
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| FloodWait, flood control | A temporary Telegram ban on actions: "wait N seconds". It appears when an account acts too often |
| Spam block, spam restriction | A Telegram restriction: the account can't write to people who haven't added it to their contacts. Checked with the @SpamBot bot |
| Ban | A blocked Telegram account. A banned account can't sign in |
| Username, @name | The public name of an account, channel or group: @example. Unique across all of Telegram |
| Invite link | An invitation link like https://t.me/+AbCdEf…. Needed to join a private channel or group |
| Channel | A feed of posts where only administrators write |
| Supergroup | A large group with history for new members and administrator rights. New groups in Telegram are supergroups |
| Discussion group | A group linked to a channel. Comments under the channel's posts are actually written into it |
| Slow mode | A group setting: a member can write no more than once every N seconds |
| Reaction | An emoji under a message. Channels and groups may allow only some reactions |
| Story | A photo or video in a profile, visible for 6–48 hours |
| Telegram Premium | Telegram's paid subscription. Some actions are available only with it |
Network and security
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Proxy | An intermediary an account goes online through. It gives each account its own IP address |
| SOCKS5, HTTP | Proxy types. SOCKS5 is the usual choice for Telegram |
| Residential, mobile proxy | IP addresses of home and mobile users. Telegram trusts them more than server addresses |
| Warmup | Imitating ordinary activity on a new account so it has a history before mass work |
| Device slot | A place for one computer in your Multogram account. The number of slots depends on the plan |
| SHA-256 | A file checksum. It is used to check that the downloaded installer has not been altered |
