Accounts

Needed. Each account gets its own profile

Restriction risk

LowAn ordinary edit of your own profile

Profile Customizer changes the profile of many accounts in one run: first name, last name, bio, username and avatar. An account with a lively profile draws fewer suspicions and complaints than an account without a name and photo.

Quick setup

Tick the fields in Fields to customize — settings appear below only for them.

Set up the sources for each field: generation, a list or a template.

Start the task on the accounts you need.

Settings

Fields to customize

First name, Last name, Bio, Username, Avatar. By default the first name, last name and avatar are ticked. Unticked fields are not changed on the accounts.

First and last name

ParameterDefaultWhat it does
Name sourceGenerate by countryGenerate by country — realistic first and last names; From template — from your template
Country (name locale)English (US)The language and country of the names: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean
GenderRandomRandom, Male or Female. One gender serves the first and the last name: with Random it is drawn anew for each account, so the two always match
First name template, Last name template—For the From template source: a template expanded for each account separately

The Name source is shared by the first and last name.

How templates expand

First name template, Last name template, Bio template and Username template are expanded anew for each account: {Anna|Maria|Olga} — one of the variants, <Digit> — a random digit, <LowerLetter> — a random lowercase Latin letter. Any other text stays as written. So {Anna|Maria} {Weston|Fowler} gives different accounts different names.

Bio

ParameterWhat it does
Bio sourceSame for all — one bio for all; Random from list — a random line of the list; From template — each account gets its own variant
Bio text (max 70 chars)The bio for all accounts
Bio list (one per line)Variants, one per line
Bio templateThe text for the From template source

Telegram limits a bio to 70 characters — a longer one won't be saved.

Username

ParameterWhat it does
Username sourceFrom template (checked for availability) or Random from list
Username templateFor the From template source: the template is expanded, and the application checks whether such a username is free. If taken, it expands the template again, up to 5 attempts
Username list (one per line)Ready usernames, one per line; the @ is optional. Each account gets a random one

A username: Latin letters, digits and _, 5 to 32 characters, starts with a letter, unique across all of Telegram. With From template, invalid characters are removed from the template's result, and taken variants are skipped. From a list a username is picked at random and without a check — prepare the list with a margin. A good template ends with digits: anna_<Digit><Digit><Digit><Digit>.

Avatar

Profile photos — one or more .jpg or .png images. Each account gets a random one of them.

Profile preview

The section ends with a Profile preview: one account as it may look after the run. On the left is a Telegram-style profile — avatar, name, "last seen recently", bio and username. On the right is how every account gets each field:

MarkWhat it means
RandomEvery account gets its own value: generated, a random line of a list, a template with variants or one of several photos
Same for allEvery account gets the same: one text, the only line, a template without variants, one photo
Not changedThe field is not ticked — the account keeps its current value
Not filled inThe field is ticked but its source is empty — fill it in above

Another example draws everything random again, so you can see how different the profiles will be. The names in the example come from the same generator the run uses; until the application has connected to the engine, "Generated name" stands in their place.

Below the list, notes appear when Telegram would refuse something: a bio over 70 characters, a name over 64, usernames that break the rules or a template that yields no valid username in 5 attempts. Whether a username is free the preview cannot know — that is checked during the run.

How it works

Each account changes the ticked fields in turn — first name, last name, bio, username, avatar. Each field is applied separately: if Telegram refused one (for example, the username is taken), the others still change. The log shows for each field "Profile updated: … → …" or the reason for the refusal.

An account counts as successful only when every ticked field changed. When some did not (the username is taken, the template gave no free variant), the log says "Profile customized only in part: X of Y fields changed" and the task statistics count the account as failed. The thread's progress counts only the ticked fields: with two fields it reads 0/2, 1/2.

Recommendations

  • Different avatars. One picture on a dozen accounts links them together. Upload as many different images as there are accounts, or more.
  • Names matching the number's country. For Russian numbers — Russian names, for American ones — English.
  • Usernames with a margin of variants. The list should have more usernames than accounts: short and "pretty" usernames are more often taken.
  • Don't change everything at once on fresh accounts. A full profile change in the first hours after registration is an extra signal. Let the account live a little.

Common questions

Why wasn't the username assigned?

From a list a username is picked at random, without a check — a taken one gets a "This username is already taken" refusal. With From template, no free variant was found in 5 attempts (the log shows a warning): add more random characters to the template, for example several <Digit>.

Why doesn't the country and gender choice appear?

It shows when the First name or the Last name field is ticked and the Generate by country source is selected.

Can I give out different avatars?

Yes: select several files in Profile photos — each account gets a random one.

How is this mode different from the Profile mass action?

It is one job done two ways. The mass action is faster for a one-off edit of selected table rows and can show or hide the phone number. The mode runs as a task: it can be scheduled and used with presets.
