Settings
Media & caption
| Parameter | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Photos and videos | — | The files for stories. Each file is a separate story |
| Caption | — | Text under each story |
Visibility
| Parameter | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Privacy | Everybody | Who sees the stories: Everybody, Contacts, Close friends |
| Shown for | 24 hours | How long a story is visible: 24 hours or 12 hours. 12 hours is only for accounts with Telegram Premium |
Limits & delays
| Parameter | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Stories per account | 1–3 | How many stories each account posts per run; each gets a random number in the range. When there are fewer files, all of them are posted |
| Order of the files | Random | Random — every account takes its own random selection in random order; As picked — every account posts the files from the first one, in the order they were picked (a series) |
| Pause between stories (sec) | 30–90 | A random pause between one account's publications |
Story preview
The section ends with the Story preview: how one account will post its stories. On the left — a Telegram-style story: an upright 9:16 frame with the account's stories as segments at the top, the header (the account, "just now", who sees the story), the photo or video and the caption. Under the frame you step to the account's previous and next story; a video starts with a click on the frame, and its sound is turned on with the button in the header. On the right — how every account gets each part:
| Mark | What it means |
|---|---|
| Random | Every account gets its own: its own files, its own number of stories, its own pause |
| Same for all | Every account gets the same: one caption, one privacy, one display time, a series of files from the first |
| None | There is no such part: no caption, one story with no pause |
| Not filled in | No photo or video is picked — pick them above |
The files of the example are chosen the way the run chooses them. Another example shows another account's selection. Notes appear below when Telegram would refuse something or show it differently than expected: a caption over 200 characters (without Premium), the 12-hour period (Premium only), more than 3 stories per account, a video over 60 seconds, a photo or video that is not 9:16, Close friends, files not found or not suitable.
How it works
Each account takes as many of the picked files as it drew in Stories per account and posts them as separate stories — with the same caption, privacy and display time. The log starts with "Posting stories: N of M files". Between publications — a random pause. An error on one file doesn't stop the others; a file that isn't a photo or video is skipped with an entry in the log.
Without Premium an account can have at most 3 active stories. When Telegram answers that the limit is reached, the account stops posting with a line saying so in the log. If an account didn't publish a single story, its thread ends with an error and a reason.
Recommendations
- Vertical photos and videos in 9:16 look best in stories.
- 1–3 stories a day per account. Dozens of stories in a row look unnatural — the default of Stories per account is the same.
- Different content for different accounts. Identical stories on all accounts link them together: pick more files than one account posts and keep the Random order — the accounts' selections will differ.
Common questions
How do I start it?
Like any mode: Tasks → New Task → Telegram Stories, pick the accounts and start. Each account publishes stories to its own profile.
Why isn't a 12-hour story published?
Telegram allows the 12-hour period only for accounts with Premium. For a regular account Telegram answers
with the PREMIUM_REQUIRED error — choose 24 hours.
Who sees a story with the Close friends or Contacts privacy?
Only those who are on the account's own close friends list or in its contacts in Telegram. If the list is empty, the story is published, but nobody sees it.
Which files are suitable?
Photos and videos. Telegram limits the length of videos in stories — trim long clips in advance.
